nutty flavour, the opium poppy contains a wide range of alkaloids and has been

contains) can become addictive. Not known in a truly wild situation, possibly
native to Europe to Asia, though the original habitat is obscure, a casual in wild

AFGHAN WHITE
Red, white and purple blooms, 4-5” across, tall plants that tend to lean with weight of the many huge smooth egg shaped pods that are produced, a high alkaloid rich poppy.
[Notes: This is another poppy that originated from Izmir Farm, it fits the description of their Asian O.B. down to the finest detail, and in my opinion this is the 'Izmir Asian O.B.' But this came in a seeds packet named Izmir Turkish Giants (gift), Their Turkish Giants had red and black flowers and large round pods, this plant doesn't.]

ASIAN SMOOTH POD
I know nothing about the origin of this poppy other than its
named China red, very strong fast growing plants to about 5-6 feet in height,
late to flower, lots and lots of flowers and pods per plant, which are large
red or pink with dark basal spots, medium sized smooth round pods, which
produce a fantastic about of seeds.

petalled flowers in the mix, very large pear shaped ribbed pods, similar to
Alcaliber, fantastic poppy, planted on mass it makes for a beautiful sight, my
favourite poppy for 2013.
The chap how gave me these seeds, wanted me to save the seed
from the plants that produced streaky flowers, and send him half, he insisted
to the streaky flowered plants produced off the scale alkaloid levels. I sent
him some seeds from another poppy for a trade, and have never heard from him
since, so he ain't getting any.

Original obtained from the Izmir Farm website that seems to have bitten the dust, he is supposed to have received directly from Afghanistan, very nice genuine Afghan poppy, good plants will reach 3 - 4 feet in height, large pink and white flowers, followed by large barrel shaped pods, seeds need to be in the ground early as later sowing will bolt, high yield, a top quality alkaloid rich poppy, white seeds.
These poppies always produce less seeds than any other poppy, hence the higher price, I always sell out before I have a new batch to sell, so if you what these seeds get them early.

This is the Izmir special bought from the now defunct Izmir
Farm in Canada, allegedly imported straight from a poppy farm in Tasmania, out
of all the Taz poppies I have grown to date, this one seems in be one of the
most genuine, this is without a doubt a supra pharmaceutical poppy, plants grow
to around 4 feet and produce a light pink to almost white flower in about 60
days from germination. Each plant will only produce one to three gigantic
ridded oval pods; some of the pods are almost completely black in colour.

Growing to 3ft tall, pale pink with pretty darker patches on their petals, giving a lot of seed from a small space, this is a rare white-seeded breadseed breed, said to have a superior flavour.

Fast to germinate, one of the first to be sown and one of the last to flower, pretty light green fleshly serrated leaves, flowers almost black/purple with pink tipped petals, on close inspection the flowers shimmer in the light, plants grow four to five feet tall, a total joy see, only one to three flowers per plant so plant the on mass, magical, unusual and rare.

This is the result of a cross I made back in 2012, most
turned out to resemble a reddish purple Extaz, but this one really stood out to
me, resembling Kandahar Afghan, but for the beautiful violet flowers, truly
gorgeous, and exclusive to Kykeon Plants.
